BACnet International announced today that Carrier Corp., a leading provider of building automation systems, is now a member of BACnet International. Carrier, a unit of United Technologies Corp. (NYSE: UTX), offers a complete range of building system equipment, including air handlers, chillers, rooftop units, and controls. Carrier has been producing BACnet-based products for over five years and has been active in the BACnet community, but recently decided to join BACnet International to further support the BACnet standard and evolving community.
